My Instagram Stories #1

Hey Everyone,
For today's blogpost I thought I would talk about my favourite social media, Instagram.
I thought that for today's blogpost I would share with you a bit more about me. So the other day as you may already know from my recent post, Favourite Bloggers, I recently looked back through my Instagram and I was thinking that I would share some of the stories behind my most favourite posts.
This photo I recently posted as it was a year ago today actually that I went to New York and visited my Grandma and Grandad with my family. I had such a great time on this trip, we spent four days in Manhattan and went to the top of the empire state building, visited the statue of liberty and of course we went shopping on 5th Avenue.
I wrote a couple of posts about my trip so if you want to read them click here.

This photo I actually took the other day outside my school as I thought that the colour of the leaves on the tree was so beautiful.
I have to say one of my favourite colours is definitely the colours of autumn!! I love it when all the leaves of the trees change colour and fall to the ground.

Now this photo I took when I was waiting for my parents to get in the car; it is actually a picture of the raindrops on the skylight in my mum's car. I can't remember now where we were going to but I just thought they looked so cool on the roof.

This is one of the photos I took while I was on holiday in Norfolk. We went with my friends family and on the Thursday while we were on holiday it was my friend Jenny's Mum Michelle's birthday so went went to see The End of the Pier Show on Cromer Pier. This is a photo I took of the pier after the show.

This is another one of the photos I took on holiday in Norfolk when we went to a garden and there was a maze there that we went in but me and Jenny did actually cheat and exit the maze at the entrance and run round it and pretended we were the first to exit!!

This is a picture of Saltburn Beach where I went before the holiday with my family we had a lovely day as there was also a food market on which we looked through, well I say looked it was more like ate our way through!

This photo I took at the beginning of the summer holidays when I went with my auntie to the retired greyhound trust. It's a charity that takes in retired and abandoned greyhounds and try's to re-home them, and all of the dogs in the kennels need walking so they welcome volunteers to walk them in the mornings. I am actually volunteering there for six months for the volunteering part of my DofE (Duke of Edinburgh Award).

Back in March you may remember that there was an Eclipse and we all got to go outside and see it and this is a photo I took of it. Of course you couldn't look straight at it so this is looking at it in the reflection of a window.

This photo brings back lots of happy memories from last year. Me and a group of my school friends ran the Race for Life to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. the day of the run was actually one of my best friends, Clari's birthday and so we went to Nandos for a meal after the run to celebrate her birthday and we all had a really great time.

The final picture I want to share with you is of the pendulum on the clock at harry potter world. I would definitely recommend harry potter world to you; it was a really great day out and it was so fascinating to find out and see behind the scenes of the movies and all of the sets and costumes from the movies.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I might do another one again soon. If you want to follow me on any social media then click here to find out how.

Autumn Essentials

Hello Everyone,
I thought for today's post I would share with you some of my autumn essentials/current favourite things.

So, I have really dry skin and my lips chap really easily so the first two things I want to talk about are from my skincare products. They are the Maybelline New York Baby Lips Dr Rescue in Coral Crave really helps to hydrate my lips and the Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion is by far the best moisturiser I have owned.
Now as I live in England its quite cold pretty much all year round except for about five days of sunshine we get in the summer! So one of the things I absolutely must have is a warm woolly jumper; I got this black and white jumper from H&M.
One of my favourite things to do on a dark autumn night is watch some of my all time favourite chick flicks like Sleepover and Wild Child.
Hot Chocolate is something I strongly believe should be acceptable all year round because it is my absolute favourite drink especially when it starts to get colder outside. My favourite hot chocolate is Galaxy instant hot chocolate but I like to make it with milk instead of hot water because it makes it more creamy and obviously I have marshmallows as well!
All year round I can't wait for autumn to come round again so I can buy a new pair of ankle boots, I actually got these ones from Tu Clothing at Sainsburys . I really like them because the front is leather look and the back is a suede like material with a zip separating them.

I hope you liked today's post, see you on Saturday,

Favourite Bloggers | Fall 2015

Hiya guys,

So it's just going to be a little, short post today on some of my favourite blogger and blogs that I have really been enjoying reading lately as well as some of my old and all time favourites.
Also just before we get started I was looking back through my old Instagram photos and found this of the best white hot chocolate I have ever had and it has made me really want one but I cant have one right now so I thought I would just put it as the photo for today's post. Anyway now you know the story behind the photo lets get on with the post...

The first blog I want to talk about is DizzyBrunette3 I have been really loving reading her posts also her blog layout is super cute!! I would definitely recommend you give her blog a read.
A Girl, Obsessed- I love how organised and chic her blog looks and I always enjoy her posts which are always full of great content.
The blog Career Girl Daily is one of the blogs that I am most envious of it is such a simple design but is packed full of awesome content and helpful tips and tricks!
A Beautiful Mess- now I feel like whenever I do a blogpost like this I mention them but I can't help it I just absolutely adore there blog and are always writing fun and original posts.
The final blog that I have been loving recently is by Louise Pendleton who's blog, A Sprinkle of Glitter, is something that I always enjoy reading but I actually wanted to put her in this post to mention about her YouTube channel and if you follow Louise on any social media you'll probably already know that she has died her hair pink for Cancer Awareness and has a just giving page where you can donate to cancer research. I just thought that it was a really good cause and she explains all about it in this blogpost and video.

That's all for today's post I hope you liked it and check out all of there blogs. See you on Monday,

20 Things to do in Fall | Fallspiration

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post in a while; I have just been super busy school and just life in general but I've decided that I'm going to give myself a schedule to help me keep up to date with posting so I'm going to aim to upload a post every Monday and Saturday.

Anyway lets get on with today's post I thought I'd start a new series called 'Fallspiration'. one of my favourite times in the year (after Christmas obviously!) is Fall or Autumn whatever you like to call it because all of the leaves turn such pretty colours and the shops get all of the autumn things in like candles and jumpers and most importantly it's now acceptable to have a hot chocolate everyday!! so here's a list of some of the things I like to do to get ready for fall and do during it:

  1. Make soup
  2. Have a bonfire
  3. Go to a Halloween party
  4. Wear scarves and jumpers
  5. Drink hot chocolate
  6. Carve pumpkins
  7. Make smores
  8. Watch a sunset
  9. Paint your nails deep fall colours
  10. Have a movie night
  11. Buy a new pair of boots
  12. Make a new morning playlist
  13. Go trick or treating
  14. Buy new fall bedsheets, blankets and pillows
  15. Take photos of the leaves
  16. Light fall scented candles
  17. Hold a pamper evening
  18. Go for a walk through the leaves
  19. Buy a coat ready for winter
  20. Create a time-lapse of your garden to see how the leaves on the trees change
See you on Saturday,
Charlotte x
